ODBC PHP 4 new functions documentation

Hello, Is there any documentation on the PHP 4 functions that can be used to detect what features the underlying ODBC driver supports. I can see them in the PHP 4 ODBC code but I can't guess how they should be used. Who is in charge of implementing/documenting those functions?
