Hi -
I did this successfully...mrcypt is v 2.5 and libmcrypt is 2.2.6...I
didn't know if you meant mcrypt 2.4+ or libmcrypt 2.4+, but I did this
all on 4/1:
OS: Linux (SuSE 6.3)
PHP4 is a static module
fresh downloads (2000-03-31) and builds of:
* php4-20003310745 from snaps.php.net
* apache_1.3.12
* libmcal (and mstore and icap drivers)
* libmcrypt_2.2.6
* mhash-0.7.0
* mysql-3.22.32-pc-linux-gnu-i686
- mhash/mcrypt compiled with --disable-posix-threads (or
--disable-pthreads)
- apache compiled according to INSTALL directions included with PHP4
(static module)
- PHP4 configuration directive:
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/bin/php4
--with-apache=/usr/local/bin/apache_1.3.12
--with-mysql=/usr/local/bin/mysql
--with-mcrypt=/usr/local/bin/libmcrypt-2.2.6/lib
--with-mhash=/usr/local/bin/mhash-0.7.0
--with-mcal=/usr/local/bin/libmcal
--enable-ftp
--disable-posix-threads
--enable-track-vars
--disable-pear
Although it might be a bit outdated from what you're doing?
