Oh, that's a pity -- I've mostly completed a PHP debugging tool for use with BBEdit, a Mac text editor. My timing, as always, is a little wobbly ;-). I too would like to see a debugger for PHP4. I'm wondering: is this likely to work in the same way as the current debugger? Would it produce the same output? (Personally, I'd like to see XML-RPC used for the debugger; it's a perfect application, and there is XML-RPC support for PHP, Python, Java, Perl, Tcl, Zope, Frontier ... most editing tools should be able to implement debugger support relatively easily. http://www.xmlrpc.com for the curious.)
