I'm trying to compile php4rc1 on linux (Mandrake 7) w/apache w/oci8
support. I downloaded the client library from
http://oracle.mattshouse.com/ (I can't find
ANYTHING on Oracle's site)
and installed without a hitch (into /usr/local/lib). I added
/usr/local/lib to ld.so.conf and reran ldconfig.
my configure line was
./configure --with-oci8 --enable-track-vars --with-apxs --disable-xml
--enable-trans-sid --without-pcre-regex --without-mysql
and make gives me the following error
/bin/sh ./libtool --silent --mode=compile gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I.
-I/home/local/src/php-4.0RC1/. -I. -I./Zend -I/home/local/src/php-4.0RC1
-I/usr/include/apache -DEAPI=1 -D_REENTRANT -g -O2 -Wall -c
internal_functions.c
internal_functions.c:47: `phpext_oci8_ptr' undeclared here (not in a
function)
internal_functions.c:47: initializer element is not constant
internal_functions.c:47: (near initialization for
`php_builtin_extensions[3]')
make[1]: *** [internal_functions.lo] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/local/src/php-4.0RC1'
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Caleb Shay
