Hi.
If you want to go via ODBC...
It might be worth installing a driver manager (http://www.unixODBC.org) works
with db2 here, and building PHP with that. it will map the ODBC 2 calls in
PHP to the ODBC 3 calls.
Just as a aside, when you configure odbcinst.ini you need to set a special
flag for DB2 to overcome a problem with the lib and dynamic linking, I have
the entry set as
[DB2]
Description = DB2 Driver
Driver = /usr/IBMdb2/V6.1/lib/libdb2.so
FileUsage = 1
DontDLClose = 1
and the odbc.ini entry as
[sample]
Description = Test to DB2
Driver = DB2
You must have the DB2INSTANCE variable set to a configured user, ie
DB2INSTANCE=db2inst1
Check that you can connect via the command line tools before using PHP.
