FastTemplate is a class. I get a parse error on the following line within the class: function fetch ( $template = "$this->LAST" ) Probably does not like the $this->LAST construct.
Nope it's not supposed to work. You can only put a constant value there not a variable or expression. Ok, I noticed the maintainer.
What do you mean? Anyway, it seems to be an inherent incompatibility with PHP 3.0. PHP 3.0 wasn't supposed to support variables here, but it supported string, which allowed you to get around this limit. We never intended it to work (quite on the contrary). I'm not very optimistic about supporting this in PHP 4.0, it's too much hassle. I'll give it some more thought though.
