odbc_fetch_into / pass be reference turned off / warning

Hi, Testing performance difference I turned allow_call_time_pass_reference off, started an application with function calls with call time reference passes, jumped to every line which threw a warning, changed all odbc_fetch_into($result,1,&$array) to odbc_fetch_into($result,1,$array), then almost no warnings appeared anymore, but two! Theses told me to pass the array by reference - has odbc_fetch_into not been updated to take in all cases arrays without reference?
