I've installed the optimizer for win32.
phpinfo()shows: Zend Optimizer v0.97.
That's all right.
But it seems that the optimizer has no effect any more:
The following test-function is with optimizer as slow as without:
function test_func() {
$start=microtime();
while ($i<1000000) {
$w=$i*$i;
$i++;
}
$ende=microtime();
$arr_a=explode(" ",$start);
$arr_e=explode(" ",$ende);
$erg=$arr_e[1]+$arr_e[0]-($arr_a[1]+$arr_a[0]);
return $erg;
}
With PHP 4.0RC1 and optimizer beta2 the optimizer had an
optimizing-effect of 80% (average of 10 function-calls)with this
function.
