Lars,
Openlink's ODBC drivers (www.openlinksw.com) will work with php, and should
enforce proper cursor behavior onto the database. You can also use SQL92
syntax (including all the other join syntax) with our drivers.
Best regards,
Andrew

If I use SQL_CUR_USE_ODBC the query executes successfully, and returns the
resultset OK.
But, after this the webserver stops responding. This machine is placed
outside the building,
and the sys-admin there reports that he has to start the w3svc service
again.
All other Cursor-settings causes this output:
SQL error: [Microsoft][ODBC driver for Oracle]Cannot use Keyset-driven
cursor on join, with distinct clause, union, intersect or minus or on read
only result set, SQL state S1C00 in SQLExecDirect in db_odbc.inc on line 47
My SQL that fails is:
"select * from table1, table2"
Both of these work just fine:
"select * from table1"
"select * from table2"
