RC2 + Oracle8.1.6 + GD + PNG on HPUX

This are several bits of this that do not work, however I with minimal editing they can be made to : Php Make --------------- 1 Oracle 8.1.6 edit configure line 19546 change libclntsh.so.8.0 to libclntsh.sl.8.0 ( that .sl extension is a pest....) 2 PNG edit configure line 12464 add LIBS="$LIBS -lz" line 12998 add LIBS="-lgd $LIBS -lz" then make and make install the diff from the RC2 configure is : diff configure configure.orig 12464,12465d12463 < # 12464 add these 2 lines to help enable GD+PNG support < LIBS="$LIBS -lz" 13000,13001d12997 < # 12988 add these 2 lines to help enable GD+PNG support < LIBS="-lgd $LIBS -lz" 19550c19546 < elif test -f "$OCI8_DIR/lib/libclntsh.sl.8.0"; then --- > elif test -f "$OCI8_DIR/lib/libclntsh.so.8.0"; then Apache Make -------------------- This will fail, so edit ../apache_1.3.x/src/Makefile find LIBS1 and add -lpng -lz after -lgd I used Apache 1.3.12
