Hi all,
I just started looking again at using objects in sessions and it appears
with the latest RC that object serialization does not support serialization
of methods yet...not that I ever heard that it would..or not.
I caught somewhere that since PHP serialization does support object
properties that if the class is defined before a session_start() that you
should be able to have the entire object back...including methods...is this
the case? or no?
If so, does anyone have a short example they can share? I tried the example
created by Thies (s.php) and I could not get it to work (undefined function
p() after session_start() and class defined before or after)
I have tried PHP serializer and WDDX and both mm and files handlers for
both...no luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...or just a definite answer if object
serialization (with methods) is possible in PHP or not.
Thanks,
-Dave
