Hi Dariusz, you can try call_user_func or call_user_method. Here are the comments I found about these functions in the C source (ext/standard/basic_functions.c): /* {{{ proto mixed call_user_func(mixed params) Call user function which is the first parameter */ /* {{{ proto mixed call_user_method(mixed params) Call a user method, on a specific object where the first argument is the method name, the second argument is the object and the subsequent arguments are the parameters */ Regards, Stefan Livieratos On Mon, 22 May 2000 10:39:06 +0200 Dariusz Malinowski <mdarek@server.efarm.pl> wrote: > *This message was transferred with a trial version of CommuniGate(tm) Pro* > hi there > is it possible to call function by passing its name (ie. > CallUserFunction ("myFun", param1, param2)) ? > > tia > dariusz malinowski > > > -- > PHP 4.0 Beta Mailing List <http://www.php.net/version4/> > To unsubscribe, e-mail: php4beta-unsubscribe@lists.php.net > For additional commands, e-mail: php4beta-help@lists.php.net > To contact the list administrators, e-mail: php4beta-admin@lists.php.net >
