Hello,
my configuration Win32/Apache 1.3.12/Sun's JDK1.1.8/PHP4 RC2
I encountered the following strange problem with Java support. Installation
went smoothly, and then I tried the script jver.php where inter alia the
following code was executed:
$system = new Java("java.lang.System");
print "Java version=".$system->getProperty("java.version");
If I call this script via http://localhost/php4/jver.php , I get the
following output:
Java version=1.1.3
I also have Tomcat 3.1 running. If I copy my php4 script directory into the
webapps/examples directory and call the script via
http://localhost:8080/examples/php4/jver.php,
I get the following output:
Java version=1.1.8
I think that this didn't occur with RC1, but I am not sure. I haven't tested
with PHP 4.0.0 yet as my $§%! MSVC ... better don't ask :-)
Has anyone experienced this, as well?
Regards
Christian
