php4 and cold fusion on the same machine

I wanted to know if php4 and coldfusion can run on the same
server? I tried loading php4 as an isapi filter for MS IIS
4.0 and it kept crashing. The only thing i can think of is
that the machine is also running cold fusion 4.5. Or is
this an IIS problem?
