problems trying to remove a directory

Hi, I'm having little trouble removing a non empty directory. rmdir only deletes empty directories, so I tried doing this: exec("rm -fr images/$dirname"); But it does nothing, and if I try rmdir("images/$dirname"); it says directory not empty, and if I try unlink("images/$dirname/*.jpg"); it says no such file or directory, but the directory exists and has some files on it. what can I do? thanks, -- --------------------------------- Juan Luis Baptiste M.
