PHP4.0.0 Segfault , with float numbers

hi, i have a problem with PHP4.0.0 and float number.. when i compil php and apache into a static executable.. i do : <? $test=1.4567; printf("%f", $test); ?> and i have : 1.000000 what's wrong in my compilation ??? everything was ok with PHP4.0B2 i do : ./configure --with-mysql --with-apache=../apache_1.3.12 --enable-track-vars --with-dbase for compiling php4 when i do a number_format .. php4 segfault .....
