It's a bit more convenient using the DSO. We can upgrade PHP without losing requests. Building is pretty much trivial: /local/bin/conf_php make make install Then check /etc/conf/httpd.conf and make sure you change the LoadModule line to load the php4 library, and check the mime types. But, I will do it if you want. I wonder if anybody has checked the aspell module under php4. I need that for one of the phpbuilder examples that points to www.php.net. -Rasmus
