Calling any AI_COUNT macros is probably wrong, unless you really really know what you're doing. I'll need access to your machine in order to try and figure out what's wrong... that's tons of code - and it's my girlfriends birthday today, so i'll be in trouble if i "hack" too long! There's a problem with forcing garbage collection. The garbage collection kicks in, basically, as soon as it's sure it won't be freeing data that has active pointers pointing to it (stuff that's moved into the garbage may still be referenced; updates to it won't be saved, but at least it won't cause a crash; garbage is only collected at points where the GC can be sure it's no longer referenced (in other words, when AI_COUNT is zero). I'll try to think of alternatives. What stack are you talking about by the way? Zeev -- Zeev Suraski <zeev@zend.com> http://www.zend.com/ For a PGP public key, finger bourbon@netvision.net.il
