Got builds on Solaris 2.6 (running 5/98 hardware..ie, 32 bit) and
Debian linux "potato" (kernel is 2.2 something).
The Sun build works fine, but every Sybase connection attempt on the
linux box returns "false", instead of a link identifier. I have tested
both local and remote connections (ie, connect the box to sybase on
itsself, and to sybase on the Sun machine, which is "next door".)
I looked around everything I could think of (checked interfaces file,
etc), but it doesn't seem to want to work...
Any further ideas on how I can debug this process?
