I've had trouble with IIS's configuration as well. It seems it tries to be 'smart', and automatically removes the module from the load list if it fails. It only happens for the first 10-20 server startups. After that, even if the module fails, it keeps it in the load list. Great AI. Zeev -- Zeev Suraski <zeev@zend.com> http://www.zend.com/ For a PGP public key, finger bourbon@netvision.net.ilAs mentioned to Zeev there are problems with the ISAPI module. The MySql dll doesn't work, for example. For example? That's the only thing I remember that was reported... I reckon there is a bug in the code where the module is loaded into ISAPI. It works sometimes but generally it becomes a real mission to get the module added. I haven't worked out what it is but I have tried other modules and they load and unload easily. Is it normal for IIS to choke on the module repeatedly after it fails to load it once? I can just imagine the number of support emails from those who try it! ugh.
