Hello All,
I have a script that uses the command line and gets user input, then
uses exec() to query a texis database. It has about 1400 lines of code and
runs as solid as a rock on php3. On php4 it runs now that functions return
"" instead of false, but the output hangs from time to time. I am going to
try to find exactly what is causing this, but I can say one thing for
sure, php4 does not *seem* to be as stable as php3.0.6.
I am using lots of ereg_replace() explode() and large arrays of
strings in this code. The reason we are using php on the command line, is
because the database started as mysql, and there is a web version so a lot
of functions that handled building the select statement where simply
copied and pasted.
