(This is using the version installed on www.php.net. Perhaps it is
fixed in more recent versions.)
<?$d = dir("/does/not/exist");
while ($f = $d->readdir()) {
echo "$f<br>";
}
?>
Works fine if the path to the directory exists.
I assume it may be even simpler than that, like trying to call a
method on any variable that isn't set, or isn't an object, or
something along those lines.
