I've been investigating bug #1696, and while it does crash on my system, I'm
not sure if it does so because of error in reg.c or because of php3_error
generating NULL error_filename which makes it crash on Solaris.
So, can anyone on Solaris (2.7 is what I have) run the following piece of
code through PHP 4.0b1?
$arg1 = "";
$arg2 = "TEST";
if (ereg($arg1, $arg2, $results)):
echo "CRASH!";
endif;
Let me know if it crashes or not.
