Error in Compiling with mysql

I keep running into the same problem when compiling apache. The make on PHP4 goes fine, but when I then try to make apache with php4 as a module I get the following errors: ./gen_uri_delims >uri_delims.h ./gen_uri_delims: error in loading shared libraries libmysqlclient.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory make[3]: *** [uri_delims.h] Error 127 make[2]: *** [subdirs] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/apache_1.3.6/src' make[1]: *** [build-std] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/apache_1.3.6' make: *** [build] Error 2 What I can't understand is that mysql is installed in it's default location (/usr/local) and the libmysqlclient.so.6 is in /usr/lib/mysql, which is all where it is normally and compiled fine in previous php versions. What have I missed?
