}Not really. From a user-level there aren't that many changes from PHP
}3.0.x and thus there is no need for a separate manual. There are some new
}things in PHP 4 and a couple of things that don't quite work the same, but
}these are slowly being added to the online PHP manual which will end up
}covering both versions.
So I hope my content description could help to fix problems in the current
documentation. I could point it out:
- Mixing all together instead of parting it in peaces of work which also
matches with the different developer-areas ("language reference",
"function reference" and "installing/configuration")
- Uncomplete language reference. There are some language constructs that
are not documented now and some, that are documented at the wrong place
(e.g. Array() )
- a part in the function reference should show the functions for the needs
of a programmer not of a PHP3-developer
- Examples, examples
