Since applying the latest patch on my mac oxs box, I cannot build php with
errors like:
ranlib libphpext_session.a
ranlib: warning: cannot infer operation mode from `libphpext_session.a'
ranlib: you must specify a MODE Try `ranlib --help' for more information.
make[2]: *** [libphpext_session.a] Error 1
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
Basically I get this for every library... There is actually no ranlib,
it's just an alias for libtool, which is ltmain.sh (GNU libtool) 1.3.2
(1.385.2.150 1999/05/26 00:28:32). Is there a chance it's a problem with
this version of libtool? Or maybe libtool won't cut it and I really need
ranlib? Any other suggestions for how to work around this?
