OCI8 Problems

We have another problem we were hoping you would be able to help us with. We
can get the OCI functions to be recognized, but they cant connect with the
oracle database. And in a page that shows the php info, the fields are all
blank, we dont know if that is related or not. Any help from anyone would be
apprecited
