Hello to everyone. I want to run PHP4b2 as a CGI, but somehow it's not
getting the right environment variables from Apache. When I request a .php
file, my php binary gets invoked correctly but it produces the output "No
input file specified."
I'm running Apache 1.3.6 on FreeBSD, and I added the following to my
httpd.conf:
ScriptAlias /php/ "/usr/local/bin/"
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
Action application/x-httpd-php "/php/php"
If I copy my phpv3 binary into /usr/local/bin instead, and then request a
.php file, it interprets my script with no problem. Does v4 have a
different invocation mechanism due to the security problems experienced with
v3? If so, how am I supposed to configure it?
thanks for your help
