zend_compile.c generating errors when compiled

Sorry to bother you guys, I have few questions that I reckon may already have been answered, but my poor knowledge of C/C++ let me stuck. I'm installing apache 1.3.9 and php4b2 on a solaris 2.7 machine. After a successful congifure, while launching the make of php, I have several error messages. Here is the first: « zend_compile.c », line 1614, undifined symbol: last container « zend_compile.c », line 1614, undifined symbol: expr « zend_compile.c », line 1614, undifined symbol: cannot dereference non pointer type this is in 1600 void do_list_end(znode *result, znode *expr CLS_DC) 1601 { ... 1605 znode last_container; 1607 le = CG(list_llist).head; 1608 while (le) { 1609 zend_llist *tmp_dimension_llist = &((list_llist_element *)le->data)->dimensions; 1610 dimension = tmp_dimension_llist->head; 1611 while (dimension) { 1612 opline = get_next_op(CG(active_op_array) CLS_CC); 1613 if (dimension == tmp_dimension_llist->head) { /* first */ 1614 last_container = *expr; ... } As zend_compile.o can't be created, I reckon most of the other errors come from that.
