Hi, I have actually a config working, but i want to upgrade Php4b1 to Php4b2 and add MySQL support. So far, my configuration is as follows : - RedHat 5.2, out of the box, kernel 2.0.36 - Apache 1.3.6 - PostgreSQL 6.3.2-10 - Php4b1 as an apache module Configure for PHP : ./configure --with-apache=/usr/src/redhat/SOURCES/apache_1.3.6 --with-gd --with-config-file-path=/www/conf --enable-track-vars --with-pgsql=/var/lib/pgsql --includedir=/usr/include/pgsql --with-mysql=/usr/lib/mysql Configure for Apache : ./configure --prefix=/www --activate-module=src/modules/php4/libphp4.a The Php4 compilation runs well, but then after, when i compile Apache, i get the following error message : /usr/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.a(my_open.o): In function `my_open': my_open.o(.text+0x13): undefined reference to `open64' /usr/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.a(mf_format.o): In function `fn_format': mf_format.o(.text+0x1a7): undefined reference to `__lxstat64' /usr/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.a(my_fopen.o): In function `my_fopen': my_fopen.o(.text+0x20): undefined reference to `fopen64' make[2]: *** [target_static] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/SOURCES/apache_1.3.6/src' Does it have to see with a linker option, or a ld.so.conf ? I really cannot figure out what to do. Any idea ? I guess i'm not the first person to try to use MySQL with Php4b2, so i assume i must be doing something wrong, but what ?
