I have the latest releases installed and see that message as
well.
$ automake --version
automake (GNU automake) 1.4
$ autoconf --version
Autoconf version 2.13
$ libtool --version
ltmain.sh (GNU libtool) 1.3.3 (1.385.2.181 1999/07/02 15:49:11)
This is due to the AM_PROG_LIBTOOL => AC_PROG_LIBTOOL change.
