Another problem it seems.
gcc -O -I. -I. -I./libzend -I/export/projects/compile/gd1.3
-I/usr/local/etc/mysql/include/mysql -o php -s -rdynamic -L./libzend
main.o internal_functions.o snprintf.o php3_sprintf.o configuration-parser.o
configuration-scanner.o request_info.o safe_mode.o fopen-wrappers.o
php3_realpath.o alloca.o output.o php_ini.o -L./libzend -lzend -Lext -lphpext
-L/export/projects/compile/gd1.3 -lgd -R/usr/local/etc/mysql/lib/mysql
-L/usr/local/etc/mysql/lib/mysql -lmysqlclient -lpam -ldl -lttf -lm
-lsocket -lnsl -lresolv
gcc: unrecognized option `-rdynamic'
Undefined first referenced
symbol in file
__dn_expand ext/libphpext.a(standard_dns.o)
__res_search ext/libphpext.a(standard_dns.o)
__inet_addr ext/libphpext.a(standard_dns.o)
__inet_ntoa ext/libphpext.a(standard_dns.o)
ld: fatal: Symbol referencing errors. No output written to php
If I add -lbind to the list of libraries I get:
ld: fatal: symbol `__inet_aton' is multiply defined:
(file ext/libphpext.a(standard_flock_compat.o) and file
/usr/local/lib/libbind.a(inet_addr.o));
So, seems that configure should detect that lbind is necessary on Solaris 2.7
and not use bundled inet_aton.
