In the past, I have successfully built the PHP 4 release from the CVS
tree, but lately (in the last week or so) I haven't been able to do it.
Running buildconf after doing a cvs update results in the following
messages:
automake: ./libzend/Makefile.am: lex source seen but 'LEX' not defined
in 'configure.in'
automake: ./libzend/Makefile.am: lex source seen but 'AC_DECL_YYTEXT'
not in 'configure.in'
I have the following versions of the tools:
autoconf 2.13
automake 1.4a
libtool 1.3.3
Both automake and libtool are installed in /usr/bin.
I saw this discussed recently in this list, but missed the resolution.
I would greatly appreciate it if someone can provide me with either a
location for an archive of this list, or the solution to this problem.
Thanks in advance.
