I don't understand what you are trying to do here in the configure.in: PHP_OUTPUT_FILES=echo $PHP_OUTPUT_FILES | sort Well, I understand what you are trying to do, but I don't see how it can work. $PHP_OUTPUT_FILES isn't defined yet at this point as far as I can tell. There is an m4 macro that defines it, but that hasn't been called yet, so this echo isn't going to get anything. Or perhaps I am missing something. Anyway, I am getting: configure.in: 731: required file `./$PHP_OUTPUT_FILES.in' not found when I run buildconf -Rasmus
