i'm working with a script that has this line of code: define("DEBUG", TRUE); this works with php3. with the zend engine with the beta 2 it gives me this error: Warning: Constants may only evaluate to scalar values which makes sense becuase on the php documentation it says: http://www.php.net/manual/language.constants.php3 You can define additional constants using the define() function. Note that these are constants, not C-style macros; only valid scalar data may be represented by a constant. but this works with php3. so will zend be backwards compatible with this or no? if not, i'll have to go put quotes on all my defines or find another work around. i'm just interested in knowing, not really complaining. this is one more thing for me to learn and it's fun. # blank@blankbox.com "You get a hit and your mind goes ping" --rocky horror picture show
