Okay, final chapter!
For the PHPLIB folks: PHPLIB works fine on my linux box after the
following two modifications
- change line 34 of db_mysql.inc to var $revision = "\$Revision: 1.15
\$";
- change constructor function in db_mysql.inc to
/* public: constructor */
function DB_Sql($query = "") {
if ($db != "") {
$this->query($query);
}
}
For the PHP4 problem: The problem is not reproduced on my linux box. I
don't know what .urem() is in the solaris libc, but there appears to be
a problem with it in Solaris6 (Solaris7 works fine...).
