PHP4 and PHP3 together with one apache?

Hi,
I already asked this some days ago, but got no answer unfortunately...
I would love to have a apache (on SuSE Linux) with php3 and php4b.
I had an apache 1.3.6 with a DSO of php3 running. I got php4b2 and compiled a DSO
with the help of apxs. But only one of the modules work at a time. I have to comment out
the directives of the other in httpd.conf.
Any clues how this could be done? Is this a problem only I face??
Please someone take the time to get me on track...
