some question about database

Hello everyone I download php 4.03b by CVS today,and I compiled it as old,but it don't put libphp4.a into ../apache_1.3.9/src/modules/php4, and tell me as follows ----------------------- Libraries have been installed in: /home/php4linux/libs If you ever happen to want to link against installed libraries in a given directory, LIBDIR, you must either use libtool, and specify the full pathname of the library, or use `-LLIBDIR' flag during linking and do at least one of the following: - add LIBDIR to the `LD_LIBRARY_PATH' environment variable during execution - add LIBDIR to the `LD_RUN_PATH' environment variable during linking - use the `-Wl,--rpath -Wl,LIBDIR' linker flag - have your system administrator add LIBDIR to `/etc/ld.so.conf' ----------------------- I compiled apache as old, but my database don't work. then I export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/home/php4linux/libs; then I compiled apache again,but my database don't work too. Please Help How Compile PHP + Database + Apache ??? It's my compiler command as follows cd apache_1.3.9 ./configure cd ../php4linux ./configure --with-mysql --with-oci8 --with-oracle --with-apache=../apache_1.3.9 --enable-track-vars make make install cd ../apache_1.3.9 ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache --activate-module=src/modules/php4/libphp4.a make make install Please help me !!!! thank !!!!!
