I'm having a strange problem compiling php4 as an apache module. I've done
it many times before and it has always worked ok but the last couple of days
it has always crashed with the problem, "make install" of php4 does copy
anything to the apache directory. So apache stop with this:
<=== src/modules/standard
===> src/modules/php4
make[4]: *** No rule to make target `all'. Stop.
make[3]: *** [all] Error 1
make[2]: *** [subdirs] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/apache_1.3.6/src'
make[1]: *** [build-std] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/apache_1.3.6'
make: *** [build] Error 2
I've used the following commands:
./configure --enable-module=rewrite --prefix=/home/httpd --with-layout=Apach
e
cd ../php4
./configure --enable-sysvsem --enable-sysvshm --with-oci8 --with-apache=/usr
/src/apache_1.3.6/ --enable-track-vars --with-oracle - -with-pgsql --without
-pcre-regex
make
make install
cd ../apache_1.3.6/
./configure --enable-module=rewrite --activate-module=src/modules/php4/libph
p4.a --prefix=/home/httpd --with-layout=Apache
make
