I have been using PHP3 and wanted to try out version 4. I am getting a bad
address error from Bison when I run it. I thought that I had done
everything right, but obvoiusly not. I am attempting to build and install
it on Windows 2000 RC2 with VC6. Here is what I did:
1) I already had Cygwin B20 installed in c:\cygnus\cygwin-b20
2) I installed MS VC++ in E:\program files\...
3) Created a c:\projects folder
4) Checked out php4, TSRM, libzend from CVS
5) Downloaded bindlib_w32.zip from http://www.php.net/version4/downloads/
6) Extracted bindlib into c:\projects\bindlib_w32
7) Opened the ph4.dsw workspace.
8) Hit Alt-F7 and changed the bison.simple path to reflect my local path,
the zend-parser.y compile
9) Tried to compile.
I would appreciate any help.
Thanx.
Peter
