Hi All,
Now 90 minutes into my PHP career and I'm stumbling over what should be
a really simple issue. From what I've read in the documentation, odbc
support functions are part of the core PHP distribution, so I should be
able to call them without needing to load any extra modules, right?
Well, I can get "Hello World" type scripts to run fine, but I've just
started working on my first DB-enabled script and cannot get a clean
compile on the line containing my odbc_connect line. The entire file
consists of:
<html>
<body>
<?php
$connID = odbc_connect("foobar", "", "");
?>
</body>
</html>
And the error returned is:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: odbc_connect() in
d:\InetPub\scripts\HelloWorld.php on line 4
Obviously this means it cannot locate the odbc_connect function, but I
cannot see a spelling error and I didn't think I needed to add anything
extra.
I'm using PHP4.0 beta 2 running under Microsoft PWS using Communicator
4.6 as the client.
What stupid thing am I missing here?
