Pdflib && 4B3

Pdflib is not configuring nicely with new release of PHP4B3. I have pdflib 2.01 installed and running with a B3-dev version but only got that going after much help from people on this list. When I do: ./configure --with-mysql --with-dbase --with-zlib \ --with-pdflib --with-tiff-dir=/usr/local --with-jpeg-dir=/usr/local \ --with-apxs=/www/bin/apxs --enable-magic-quotes --enable-track-vars Then I get: ... checking whether to include Pdflib 2.x support... yes yes checking for PDF_close in -lpdf... no configure: error: pdflib extension requires pdflib 2.x. You may as well need libtiff and libjpeg. In such a case use the options --with-tiff-dir=<DIR> and --with-jpeg-dir=<DIR> Someone on this list told me that: perl -pi -e 's/-lpdf/-lpdf2.01 -ltiff -lzlg' configure will get it going. I dont know if not being able to configure easily is a problem with php or pdflib. That is my report. Allen
