--enable-trans-sid forgotten for header redirects?

the --enable-trans-sid works fine for people who do not have cookies
enabled.. one function of this feature i saw that did not work is when you
use header("Location: link.php"); it does not automatically transfer the
session id as a get parameter -> thus losing the current session.. would
this be fixed in the next cvs release? or was the enable-tans-sid feature
set so it wasnt meant to function with header redirects?
btw, it works when you use header("Location: link.php?" . SID);
