Hi:
We are presently using apache, Mysql and php (version 3.0.11) on a windows 95 machine. We are in the process of upgrading to php 4.0. The problem we are facing is that our existing programs which are working on php 3.0.11, are not working on php 4.0. The error message we get is "undefined function: mysql_connect". When we run phpinfo.php on apache web server, it does not show mysql related information.
While installing php 3 we had transferred php3_mysql.dll to windows/system. For php 4 do we need a different dll? If yes, where can i find this dll.
thanks in advance.
ravi

This is the ezmlm program. I'm managing the php4beta@lists.php.net mailing list. To confirm that you would like rbhootra@hotmail.com added to the php4beta mailing list, please send an empty reply to this address: php4beta-sc.942990461.mgphenhchlemaoljfnak-rbhootra=hotmail.com@lists.php.net Your mailer should have a Reply feature that uses this address automatically. This confirmation serves two purposes. First, it verifies that I am able to get mail through to you. Second, it protects you in case someone forges a subscription request in your name. --- Here are the ezmlm command addresses. I can handle administrative requests automatically. Just send an empty note to any of these addresses: <php4beta-subscribe@lists.php.net>: Receive future messages sent to the php4beta mailing list. <php4beta-unsubscribe@lists.php.net>: Stop receiving messages for the php4beta mailing list. <php4beta-get.12_45@lists.php.net>: Retrieve a copy of messages 12 to 45 from the archive. A maximum of 50 messages are returned per request. <php4beta-index.123_456@lists.php.net>: Retrieve subjects of messages, including 123 though 456 from the archive. Subjects are returned in sets of 100. A maximum of 2000 subjects are returned per request. <php4beta-thread.12345@lists.php.net>: Retrieve a copy of all messages with the same subject as message 12345. DO NOT SEND ADMINISTRATIVE REQUESTS TO THE MAILING LIST! If you do, I won't see them, and subscribers will yell at you. To specify God@heaven.af.mil as your subscription address, send mail to <php4beta-subscribe-God=heaven.af.mil@lists.php.net>. I'll send a confirmation message to that address; when you receive that message, simply reply to it to complete your subscription. --- Enclosed is a copy of the request I received.
