on beta3 the file handling is fine.. but we segfault ;)
current beta4 we have no problems with sybase-ct.. only file handling with
require/include.. can some people report back when they also have problems
with filehandling when they use includes/require.. you can check out the
number of open files with the following command
/usr/sbin/lsof -c http | wc -l
example php pages
<html>
<body>
before<br>
<?
include("test.inc");
?>
after<br>
</body>
</html>
---- test.inc ----
<?
echo "<br>weeee<br>";
?>
when the run the lsof command before and after the page call, it should be
the same number.. if its always higher then its not closing the files.. i
think linux can only have 4069 open files .. (with redhat6.1 default)..
though i am sure the value is changeable somewhere..
also with beta3 and beta4 with sybase-ct support, we cant get httpd to load
up after a shutdown.. only after a reboot will it run.. i have confirmed
this in a previous post with beta4, now im confirming with beta3 ;) could
this be a sybase environment export/variable problem?
