Rewriting the URL scanner is on my TODO; the new version will
avoid the current disadvantages:
- it only sees hardcoded HTML constructs
- it breaks, if one mixes PHP and HTML to output one HTML
element which shall be rewritten
If you want to use the current version, make sure that the
URL scanner will get your HTML elements as one chunk. I.e.
instead of writing
<A HREF="<? echo "/url"; ?>">
write:
<? echo "<A HREF=\"/url\">"; ?>
Also don't use
<A TARGET="_blank" HREF="url">
but use instead
<A HREF="url" TARGET="_blank">
