php4 + mysql

Hi, This most likely the same in beta 4 as in php3 but i am using php4 so I have used this list. I am planning on having a number of html templates stored in a mysql database, calling these templates from within a php script and displaying the contents. however they are templates and in these templates I want to include php commands to access information from a mysqldatabase (the content to be put into the templates). will php do this? eg php calls mysql --> return from mysql has php commands to access db --> output. if not then I will not use mysql to hold the templates. and use shtml instead, but it would be preferable to do it all in sql. thanks 8) Michael Andrewes BiS -- It said "Requires Windows 95 or better".
