Compile error (HP-UX 10.20)

Hi, I'm a bit of a newbie at this so please forgive any ignorance... I've installed and run apache 1.3.9 on HP-UX 10.20 as per instructions - no probs. I've since downloaded PHP 4.0b3, run ./configure, make and make install with no probs. I can run 'configure' in Apache with the --activate-module setting no probs.
