compiling 4.0b3 code on NT

Hi I'm trying to compile the 4.0b3 code on NT4 (ISAPI dll) to try and get to the bottom of a problem I'm having with ODBC - bug number 2886 - a problem which now seems to have been encountered by one or two others. I can get everything to compile, but the linker fails on two counts. 1. php-4.0b3\ext\com\COM.c makes a call to OLESTRLEN which the linker decides is an unresolved external symbol. 2. Sundry unresolved externals pertaining to resolv.lib (_pctype, __mb_cur_max, writev). Can anyone advise me what .lib and .dll files I need to fix the above.
