Looks neat and it can serve its purpose. But the Apache
php3-auto-...pend-file directive was still more flexible. For example,
an index file might have one prepend/append couple and the other files
in the directory would use others to give different styles for page
navigation.
http -L gives:
php_value (mod_php4.c)
PHP Value Modifier
Allowed in *.conf anywhere and in .htaccess
when AllowOverride includes Options
php_flag (mod_php4.c)
PHP Flag Modifier
Allowed in *.conf anywhere and in .htaccess
when AllowOverride includes Options
php_admin_value (mod_php4.c)
PHP Value Modifier (Admin)
Allowed in *.conf anywhere
php_admin_flag (mod_php4.c)
PHP Flag Modifier (Admin)
Allowed in *.conf anywhere
I took the settings from php.ini:
auto_prepend_file = /usr/local/apache/htdocs/php/page.inc
auto_append_file = /usr/local/apache/htdocs/php/page_3.inc
...and put into httpd.conf in a Directory+Files context, guessing the
syntax/semantics:
<Directory>
<Files *.php3> # Some php3 to change to php everywhere :-)
php_value auto_prepend_file "/usr/local/apache/htdocs/php/page.inc"
php_value auto_prepend_file "/usr/local/apache/htdocs/php/page.inc"
</Dir..> etc
*Something* gets included since the classes in page.inc are there, but
it doesn't behave at all like having the rows in php.ini. Could somebody
explain how the new config syntax for the Apache module is used?
Thanks,
§
